Common questions

How does Whiteboard decide when to remind me?
Exact-time reminders (“at 3pm”) fire exactly on time. Everything else waits for a moment that fits — a free hour, the right place, or your morning brief — within a small daily budget of interruptions. Tap Why now? on any nudge to see its reasoning.
I didn't get a notification I expected.
Check Settings → Notifications: that this device is listed, that your quiet hours aren't covering that time, and use Send test. In the browser, notifications also need to be allowed for whiteboard.ing in your browser's site settings.
Can I use it on my Mac?
Yes — the web app is the Mac experience. In Safari choose File → Add to Dock, or in Chrome use the install icon in the address bar, to get it as an app with notifications.
Is there an iPhone app?
It's in beta on TestFlight, with Lock Screen widgets, Siri and place-based reminders. Email us for an invite.
How do I connect Claude or Poke?
Open Settings → Integrations. Claude connects over MCP with a copyable URL and a normal sign-in; Poke uses your Poke API key. Everything a connected assistant does appears in Activity with Undo, and you can disconnect it any time.
Something it created is wrong.
Press Undo on the toast (or u), or find the change in Settings → Activity and undo it there. You can also just edit the item.
What does Whiteboard know about me?
Everything it has learned is listed in Settings → What Whiteboard knows, where you can edit or delete any of it. See the Privacy Policy for the details.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Settings → Account → Export downloads everything in your account as a file.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself at any time:

  • On the web: Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm.
  • On iPhone: Settings → Account → Delete account.

This permanently removes your account and everything in it — items, lists, people, places, memories, devices and connections — and signs you out everywhere. It can't be undone, so export first if you want a copy.
